X-Ray
X–Ray is an enterprise–level, results–oriented data governance and analysis platform that caters to all industries. It can non–invasively collect and process internal and external data of enterprises, establish online computational models, and provide quantifiable basis for business decision–making. Fusion is a comprehensive and large-scale platform that provides comprehensive business lifecycle management for clients in the trade and finance industries. Its functionalities encompass a superset of CTRM (Commodity Trading and Risk Management) and ETRM (Energy Trading and Risk Management) systems. Having undergone more than a decade of continuous development, Fusion has served as an indispensable core system for CNPC and Sinopec’s global business. Its functionalities cover multiple modules including futures, physical trading, mark–to-market P&L (Profit and Loss), settlement, and more. It supports end-to-end management of both paper and physical commodity trading, including storage, transportation, execution, settlement, and other aspects. Financial trading
Directly fetch trades from automated interfaces of global exchange platforms, allowing traders to manually categorize trades into specific investment portfolios or set rules based on their preferences.
Physical trading
Accurately input important trade terms from actual trade contracts into the system, including commodity names, trade quantities, pricing methods, pricing periods, and other information.
Investment portfolios
Effectively categorize trades, typically organizing investment portfolios in a hierarchical tree structure to ensure clear and concise relationships between levels. This facilitates the statistical and computational analysis of exposure and profit/loss calculations.
Physical inventory
Define inventory across multiple dimensions and record information such as batch numbers and quantities for goods entering and leaving the warehouse, achieving comprehensive management of actual inventory. Additionally, by calculating the prices of goods in and out of the warehouse, it allows for accurate assessment of transaction costs and profit/loss situations.
Mark-to-market profit and loss
Support the calculation of exposure profit and loss using multiple sets of different versions of forward prices, and obtain the required price data from multiple price data source interfaces. Additionally, it supports multidimensional slicing and pivot analysis of trade data, facilitating in-depth analysis and decision-making for traders and risk control personnel regarding trading situations.
Hedge accounting
Formulation and approval of hedging plans, confirmation of hedging relationships between physical and paper commodity trades, confirmation of the effectiveness of hedging, calculation and recording of hedge profit and loss, and generation of hedge vouchers integrated with the financial system.
